Call it a marriage of the D’s. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have reportedly tied the knot. People and Us Magazine both report that the couple married Saturday night at their home in Beverly Hills.

Although an unconventional marriage as far as national standards go, DeGeneres now joins the list of older women marrying younger “spouses.” DeGeneres 50 trumps the starry eyed de Rossi by 15 years.

Despite efforts by the masses to block gay marriages come November, Hollywood known for liberalism has sided with Ellen.

And why not? The lovable every-woman has pocketed four consecutive Daytime Emmy awards. And she’s just a vibrant loving individiual.

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl told the Associated Press, “One of my favorite people of all time is Ms. Ellen DeGeneres,” Katherine Heigl.

I whole-heartedly agree.

Heigi went on to say, “I wish all the best, all the happiness, all the joy that comes with that certificate … just the joy of being able to stand up and say that. In front of everyone you love and care about in front of each other and to walk away legal is huge.”

Paris Hilton Responds to McCain Ad

Limelight seeker, tabloid superstar, and notorious party-goer Paris Hilton has released a political ad in response to John McCain’s recent ad using her as the subject.

The video is hysterical for several reasons. For one, Paris references McCain by saying, “Thanks for the endorsement white haired dude.”

The funny part is, her energy policy actually makes sense. Hmmm. It’s a simple statement. She combines Barack Obama’s policy with John McCain’s police.

But, frankly, I’m just weirded out by anything that comes out of Paris’ mouth making sense. I wonder who she paid to come up with the line? Or maybe she actually came up with it herself? Who am I kidding? ‘She must have like totaaaaaally paid someone.

Now that I’m finished Hilton’ing out. I’ll admit I’m impressed. Much like an former-alcoholic, Paris has steadily been on the road to recovery from her younger more childish days. So, I should stay supportive and refrain from demeaning her actions.

And heck, I love her closing statement on this video. “Energy crisis solved, I’ll see you at the debate bitches.” Awesome. Kudos to Paris.

Aqua Teen Fans get a Chance for Live Action Role

Ever dream of starring in your favorite cartoon?

Adult Swim is making that dream a reality for one individual. Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim recently announced that one “lucky” real person will get the opportunity to star as Carl in the first-ever live action episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

The cult-cartoon phenom will begin its search for an authentic Carl Saturday, July 26, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Omni Hotel in San Diego during this year’s Comic-Con convention.

What better place to find a Carl look-alike than a comic convention. New York Comic Con was filled with people dressed as anywhere from the cliche “Star Wars” character to “Naruto” and “Bleach” wannabes.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, one of Adult Swim’s most popular animated action-adventure, comedy-dramas, follows the strange everyday lives of three human-sized food products who live in New Jersey. Their next-door neighbor is Carl, a simple man who’s endearingly sweaty, hairy, lewd, fashion-challenged, horny, nasty and oftentimes annoying. All men remotely fitting that description are encouraged to show up. It would also help to be bald, have a mustache and wear a dirty white tank top, sweat pants and flip-flops. For background, video of Carl’s awesomeness can be seen at AdultSwim.com. Aqua Teen Hunger Force co-creator, Dave Wills, who is also the voice of Carl, will be on site at the San Diego search.

So, if you think you’ve got what it takes to be a live-action cartoon look-alike. Then make your way over to San Diego. BuzzFocus will be there getting a first-hand look at who could be the first live-action “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” Carl.
