** Spoiler Alert - Be warned that there are Season 8 spoilers ahead **

Smallville fans across the world sure have been through a lot since the curtain dropped on Season 7. With news that Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) and show creators/Executive Producers Al Gough and Miles Millar have stepped away, we’ve all wondered if Smallville will even resemble itself when it returns for Season 8 in the fall.

The good news is that the Justice League will return (sort of) to the frey in the first episode “Odyssey” in order to help find Clark (Tom Welling), who is presumably missing since his Season 7 finale encounter with Lex in the Fortress of Solitude.

I say, sort of, because the entire Justice League from that epic episode in Season 6 (”Justice”) won’t be around. Missing will be Impulse/Flash and Cyborg. However, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow will round up Aquaman (Alan Ritchson) and Black Canary (Alaina Huffman) to find our missing Kryptonian hero. While I would happily trade Aquaman for either of the two missing chums, I’m happy to hear that the JLA is somewhat returning. And Black Canary was a little underwhelming in her only episode (Season 7’s “Siren”), so hopefully she’ll come back and kick some butt.

Who should Clark be with when Smallville Ends?

And expect the CW show to begin exploring the Clark / Lois Lane (Erica Durance) dynamic more. Clark, in an effort to maintain a normal life, will [finally] take a job at the Daily Planet, right across the desk from Lois. One has to wonder how Smallville will handle the transition of this all-important love interest. Will Lana finally be replaced in Clark’s heart by Lois or will the show leave that transition up to the interpretation of viewers once it has ended.

Wishfully speaking, the show’s four remaining producers will be able to conjure up something worthy of the Smallville’s faithful fan following. What say you? Can Smallville rebound from the loss of Lex and Gough/Millar? I like to think as our bald-headed villain once said : “I like to keep my mind open to extreme possibilities.”

Series Premiere: ABC Family's 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager'

Coming to ABC Family tonight is a fresh entry in the high school drama catalog, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” created by 7th Heaven’s Brenda Hampton. Not since the movie Juno are you in for a daring look into what goes on in the minds of teenagers growing up in today’s world.

In Grant High School, everyone has secrets. But secrets are meant to be kept, right? Wrong. First you have Amy, who is hiding her pregnancy from her mom Anne. Then you have Grace, who’s dating Jack. But Jack hooked up with Adrian, who secretly likes Ricky. And Ricky, well, him and Amy have the biggest secret of them all.

Filling out those characters is a great cast featuring veterans and fresh faces alike. It all starts with Molly Ringwald, who has come full circle since her early days in “Sixteen Candles” and “The Breakfast Club.” Ringwald, will play Anne Jeurgens, a loving mother of two who is going through trials and tribulations with her husband.

Also in the mix are Shailene Woodley as Amy, Francia Raisa as Adrian, Kenny Baumann as Ben, Daren Kagasoff as Ricky, Megan Park as Grace and Greg Finley as Jack.

Watch Out For Francia Raisa

Raisa plays Adrian Lee, who has the rare talent of being the resident bad-girl and a great student simultaneously. To stir up the drama, she goes behind Grace’s back to cheat on Jack, but she really has a crush on Ricky. Raisa is an emerging talent to watch out for and is fresh off of starring in the ABC Family movie “The Cutting Edge III: Chasing the Dream.” You’ve also probably seen her in Nickelodeon Films’ Shredderman Rules and Bring in On: All of Nothing opposite Hayden Panettiere.

Another small screen veteran on the show is John Schneider, who we all know from his days on “Dukes of Hazzard” and, of course, “Smallville“. Schneider will play Grace’s overprotective father, Marshall Bowman.

“Secret Life” should be a great addition to the current set of summer drama offerings. Be sure to tune in to this brand new drama, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” for its premiere Tuesday, July 1 at 8/7c.

It looks like Amy Ryan will get to further test her comedic acting chops on The Office. The actress, nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Gone Baby Gone, will be joining the NBC comedy for at least 5 episodes during its fifth season, according to Variety.

Ryan’s character, Holly, was introduced during the Season 4 finale as a potential love interest for Scranton Dunder-Mifflin manager, Michael Scott. Her appearance was great and she had great chemistry with the rest of the cast. I’m a little sad that Toby is leaving, given his hilarious interactions with Michael, but Ryan should do a great job filling in his shoes with new storylines.

New roles have been instrumental to the fabric of Prison Break and the Fox show is set to add two more characters to the mix for Season 4.

James Hiroyuki Liao will play Roland Glenn, a computer hacker who will join the cause of Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows and help them take down The Company.

Sasha Alexander, who gained some fame as Gretchen in Dawson’s Creek, is set to play Shannon Anderson, a character to be introduced in the first episode. Who exactly this character is will remain a mystery until more information is divulged.

Nothing too exciting here, but this season is shaping up to be a great finish to an awesome show!

Fox has debuted another very short Prison Break Season 4 Teaser Trailer. It doesn’t show much, but apparently both Sucre and T-Bag have escaped from Sona (that place must have more holes than swiss cheese!). It also says to prepare for the biggest surprise yet (which we already know is the reappearance of Sara Tancredi).

Anyway, take a look at it for yourself.

Who would’ve thought that the original Fast and the Furious could spawn 3 sequels? I wouldn’t have thought so, but FATF 4 is well underway. Check out some first look photos of the film, which were originally posted on USA Today.
