What does a screenwriter do once they’ve finished a script they’ve slaved over? Perhaps shout “Victory!”?

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has taken to Twitter and Instagram to let fans know that he’s done with the script for big screen version of his TV show:

And because he says “For real this time,” we believe it.

Constance Zimmer, who played Dana Gordon on the show, responded to Ellin’s tweet shortly after expressing her interest in getting started on the project:

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost two years since the show’s final episode. Ellin is hoping Entourage becomes the latest in a line of TV shows that made a successful jump to the box office, with 21 Jump Street and Sex and the City being recent examples. 24 is also waiting in the wings to see its big screen treatment, but the project is still stalled in pre-production.

All the stars of the show, Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven), are set to reprise the oft-hilarious roles they played from 2004 – 2011.
