The fans and ratings have spoken. The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural have both been picked up for early renewals in advance of Upfronts. These two shows have been a dominant force for the CW in the fantasy genre/pop-horror categories.
Arrow also got an early pick up, going into Season 2. Holy crap is this show good. There, I said it. Dear FOX, CBS, ABC and NBC – please take note… the adventures of Oliver Queen and his partner Diggle have complemented the CW’s roster with just the right dose of necessary action. Now it’s time for the other networks to step up their game.
The CW continues to rock broadcast TV with some of the most engaging genre series around.
EDITOR’S PICK: Vampire Diaries PWNTS Social TV
Also, to the Supernatural fans, years ago I suggested Supernatural Season 10. It’s looking like more of a reality every day. But I wonder if The Vampire Diaries will also go the distance. With all the wild turns and delicious twists, I’m thinking TVD will go on to Season 7 and then come to a close. The fans will still be there, but I’d rather see TVD go out on a high note than get monotonous.
