Here’s a little hint about what’s going to go down on this Sunday’s episode of Homeland: everything is going to change.

Showtime has released two clips from the upcoming episode, which is appropriately title “Q&A.”

After Carrie’s dramatic confrontation with Brody in Episode 4, “New Car Smell,” it would appear that all cards are now on the table. With the CIA in possession of Brody’s confession tape, they’re going to interrogate him to see what he knows about the potential attack. And they need to keep his whereabouts off the grid, not allowing even his Congress colleagues to know what he’s doing.

The writers seem to be going for the jugular very early on, skipping the conventional tactic of maintaining status quo for as long as possible. Having Brody captured at the one-third mark of the season seems pretty risky and it’s anyone’s guess where things go from here.

Will they be able to extract information from Brody now that they have his confession tape? Will they release him back into the wild and make him work against Abu Nazir? Will Carrie be officially reinstated to the CIA now that she’s been vindicated? Or is she damaged goods, regardless of the fact that her seemingly outmatches that of any of her former colleagues?
