The new trailer for Vampire Diaries picks up directly after the events in the Season 3 finale. Elena has survived death. Now, Stefan and Bonnie are trying to figure out a way to save Elena before she turns into a vampire. Damon, of course, suggests the obvious. Elena needs to feed on human blood.
However, Bonnie is hoping to dive into her bag of witch tricks to venture to the other side and bring Elena back.
Let’s be honest. It’s a forgone conclusion. Elena will become a vampire. We’re just waiting to see who suffers in the process of trying to “save” Ms. Gilbert this time. The trailer hints at Bonnie overextending her powers, much to Jeremy’s chagrin.

In other Mystic Falls news, it looks like the Mystic Falls’ humans will be making a serious move to take back their precious town from the vamps this season – led by the Church. Also, Klaus is going to have a “great time” with Caroline since she doesn’t realize that Klaus is inhabiting Tyler’s body.
