The September 30 Season 2 premiere of Homeland is fast approaching, but you can spend 30 seconds right now inside the chaotic mind of heroine Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) in this new teaser from Showtime.
You can fully expect the second season to expand on Carrie’s debilitated mental state, which had her receiving electric shock treatment in the Season 1 finale. Meanwhile, Brody (Damian Lewis) will be keeping busy with his burgeoning political career.
The buzz couldn’t be any hotter for Homeland at this point: the series secured five Primetime Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama, Outstanding Lead Actor (Lewis), Outstanding Lead Actress (Danes), Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Writing.
If you want to catch up on the first season, you can nab either the DVD and Blu-ray release when they hit stores on August 28.
