How do you not become the thing you hate?

At Comic Con 2012, Spartacus: War of the Damned showrunner Steven DeKnight discussed the evolving character of Spartacus (Liam McIntyre). He’s defeated Batiatus (John Hannah) and Glaber (Craig Parker), the two people responsible for what happened to his wife. Now, it’s time to shift focus from vengeance and hone in on Spartacus’ approach towards slavery and taking down the Roman empire.

Despite the bonds formed between the rebels in Spartacus: Vengeance, DeKnight hints at heightened internal turmoil within Spartacus’ ranks. It also looks like rape will be a a major issue in the final season.

DeKnight also gives us an overview of his upcoming series, Incursion. He calls it Black Hawk Down on another planet.
