We all knew it was coming, but Activision and Treyarch confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be hitting stores this year. They wasted no time getting the hype engine kickstarted by releasing this action-packed reveal trailer.
This two minute teaser most notably takes us 13 years in to the future, where war technology has advanced considerably. We find COD:BO 1 sidekick Sergeant Frank Woods in his old age, barking like a curmudgeon about how said technology has eclipsed the capabilities of man and how the world will need “men like us” to do what others can’t.
There’s a ton of action in the trailer, which goes to great lengths to show the city of Los Angeles in a complete state of destruction.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launches on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on November 13, 2012.
