The Dark Knight has been upgraded to legendary status. Warner Bros Interactive has just announced that Batman: Arkham City will have a Game of the Year Edition released.

The new release will include all of the five previously released DLC packs, which means that players will be able to game as Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing right away. Also, the Game of the Year Edition will have two hours of bonus content with the new Harley Quinn’s Revenge story mission.

In addition to the bonus characters, players will have the following maps: Wayne Manor, Main Hall, Freight Train, Black Mask, The Joker’s Carnival, Iceberg Long, and Batcave. Skins include: 1970s Batsuit, Year One Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Earth One Batman, Batman Beyond Batman, Animated Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman, Long Halloween Catwoman, Animated Catwoman, Animated Robin, Red Robin and Animated Nightwing.

According to Warner Bros Interactive the release will also allow you to have access to the Batman Year One Movie. However, based on Warner’s current stance on digital copies, you will probably only receive access to the Ultraviolet copy. This allows you to stream the movie, but not download it to your iTunes for use on iOS.
