Halo 4 comes a few months early in a bizarre way. The latest Battleship featurette shows off just what an alien invasion would look like if Halo‘s Master Chief was doing the invading.

The artistic design on these aliens look less like the gruesome attackers you would find in a Predator or Alien movie, and more like recon soldiers in suits of armor.

Check out this latest featurette with Director Peter Berg and film star Rihanna. The two discuss the story behind this invasion on the tide. Rihanna tells us how awesome it is to take down one of these alien soldiers. Thankfully, it’s not the real Master Chief, else Rihanna would be in for a world of hurt.

Halo’s Master Chief

Perhaps the real story is that Master Chief and Rihanna exist in a parallel dimensions. Although Rihanna thinks she’s fighting aliens, she’s really fighting humans on a mission to take down The Covenant.

Watch the featurette now:

Battlship opens in theaters on May 18th, 2012. The film also stars Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Asano Tadanobu, and Liam Neeson.

that’s just blatant disregard for the Chief……atleast if you wanted aliens make’em more look like the elites rather than the freaking Chief himself
