Sutter states that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Tara (Maggie Siff) are “Destined” to be together.
Get ready SAMCRO fans, the countdown to the next season of Sons of Anarchy is well underway as well as the series finale.
Showrunner Kurt Sutter has already plowed through the first 12 pages of the Season 5 premiere and it looks like the network execs are all aboard.
But, more importantly, Sutter and his creative team are working on the series finale for SOA. For the past two months, his team has been focusing on the overarching stories that will push the show through seasons six and seven.
In his latest WTF Sutter, Kurt also states that the network could potentially be on board for more seasons beyond the seventh. As always it comes down to a matter of production cost versus revenue. However, the showrunner maintains that his focus will be on bringing the show to a close in season 7.
Sutter further discusses the relationship with Tara (Maggie Siff) and Jax (Charlie Hunnam), specifically stating that “the next king and queen [are] moving into place and perhaps pushing out the old guard.” He says that for better or for worse, Tara and Jax are two people who are “destined to be together.”
Although he doesn’t give out spoilers, Sutter does explain how the new power shift will affect the club. He discusses the emotional and family issues that Tara and Jax will have to face as the make the decisions of club vs family.
