Happy Valentines Day Gossipers!
It’s Valentines Day on the Upper East Side and I have a sneaking suspicion that one “Lonely” Brooklynite will probably try to make another play for Blair’s affection in “Crazy Cupid Love”. She’s admitted to loving him as a friend, but Dan wants so much more. It’s written all over his droopy-dog expression he exhibits whenever Blair is around.
At the end of “The Backup Dan”, it was revealed that Dan was the real culprit behind the leaked video of Blair’s love confession to Chuck at the Royal Wedding. Now that we know the truth, it’s just a matter of time before everyone else does as well – especially with Georgina at the helm of Gossip Girl.
Sadly, Chuck continues to be on the outs with Blair. He offered to pay off her dowry, but our independent woman refused to have Chuck buy her freedom from Louis.
“When and if we end up together, it has to be as equals with nothing over our heads. That’s the only shot we have.” – Blair to Chuck
Blair will be returning from her staged honeymoon in time for Valentines festivities that may bring Nate and estranged Rhodes daughter Lola together. All of Serena’s exes seem to be enamored by her sisters, whether that sister is a fake Ivy in disguise or the real deal.
Matt Penn directed “Crazy Cupid Love”; the episode was written by Austin Winsberg.
In Gossip Girl Episode 5.15, “Crazy Cupid Love”:
It’s Valentine’s Day on the Upper East Side and Blair can’t resist playing cupid for someone she loves. Georgina is intent on stirring up more drama, so she decides to crash Nate’s Valentine’s Day party. Meanwhile, Serena is shocked by something she witnesses at the party. Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Kaylee DeFer, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.
