If you are a fan of Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries, you were probably “bummed” this week to learn that both CW shows took off for the last Thursday and Friday of January. It was actually the second week on hiatus for Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester since the series returned at the start of 2012.
Thankfully, both shows will return to kick off February in a major way. And, Supernatural will be getting a dose of TVD power. Sara Canning who starred as Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) Aunt Jenna on TVD will be appearing in Supernatural Episode 7.13, “The Slice Girls”. If you haven’t seen the preview yet, you can see it below. It shows Canning getting sexual with Dean and some very curious results.
Jerry Wanek directed the episode, which was written by Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner.
We’ve got 10 new stills from “The Slice Girls” that feature Canning, Ackles, Padalecki and Alexia Fast (as Emma). Needless to say, the Winchester bros have are ready for whatever comes next with guns in hand.

“The Slice Girls” airs on Friday, Feb 3. In this episode:
Sam and Dean investigate a case where the victims’ hands and feet have been severed and each have been branded with a strange symbol. While Sam does some research at a local university, Dean heads to one of his favorite places to investigate โ the town bar. Dean strikes up a conversation with a local named Lydia (guest star Sara Canning, “The Vampire Diaries”), and the two go back to her place. Sam discovers the symbol on the bodies is a sign of Amazon warriors.
