Can you feel the tension? The royal wedding is about to go down and disaster is imminent for the union of Blair of Prince Louis.
The chips seem stacked against the marriage. Let’s look at what factors can lead up to the royal breakup.
Chair
Hey, be honest. You don’t really think that Blair and Prince Louis were meant to be together? Blair is an Upper East Side girl, not a Monaco princess. Chuck plans to breakup the wedding. When the priest asks ‘if anyone has a reason why these two shouldn’t be married’ expect Chuck to show up on queue. After all, he’s the villain, right?
“She already thinks I’m a villain, I may as well become one.” – Chuck
When Chuck said those words, it felt like a scene from Smallville, with Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) stating, “I am the villain of this story.”
The Gossip Girl producers are hoping for a sixth season so it wouldn’t be out of the picture for Chuck to do something diabolical that shoves a new wedge between Blair and himself.
Dair
Blair will definitely NOT call off the wedding to be with Dan. However, we now know that Dan wrote Louis’ wedding vows. If the truth comes out, and somehow it always manages to come out, then Blair will lose the resolve she had to live happily ever after with Louis.
After reading Louis’ wedding vows, Blair said to Serena: “It’s like he peered into my soul. I know Louis loves me, but sometimes I wonder if he understands me. Reading this is exactly what I needed to go into my wedding sure of my choice.”
Unfortunately, the one who peered into Blair’s soul was really Dan. By the way, how pitiful is Louis for asking Dan to write the vows?
Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg)
Georgina is returning to GG to muddle things up once again. But for who? Is she targeting Derena, Chair or the Royals? Yeah, Serena has her sights set on Dan again, even though he’s still got puppy dog eyes for Blair.
Beatrice Grimaldi
Beatrice’s holy affair is also a factor in the royal breakup. The good Grimaldi priest is backing Chuck in the race to breakup the wedding, while Beatrice is backing Blair. Sophie may want to send off Beatrice to East Africa, but she may show up to try and save the day from divine intervention.

Hey, there’s one last thing that could happen. Blair and Louis can get married. Then something more catastrophic (or just the truth about Dan’s wedding vows) will break up the marriage.
After seeing Blair party, I’m hoping the wedding is called off so that she can continue to show off her wild side.
