Happy 2012! The New Year has begun and with it, a New Era of shenanigans on WWE.
The Raw Supershow opened up 2012 for wrestling fans in Memphis, TN with everyone wondering what the big reveal would be following weeks of “It Begins” promos for Jan 2. 2012.
Now, we know what begins. The return of Chris Jericho.

Y2J entered the ring with a Kool-Aid smile, while wearing bedazzled attire. He gave his fans high fives as he soaked in the energy of the WWE arena and walked to the ring. Then, he did the unthinkable.
He went into the ring, grabbed the mic, started a cheering wave, said absolutely nothing and left.
What —- The —– F!
We’ve seen Jericho perform promotional stunts for nearly a decade, starting with his countdown to the year 2000 and continuing with several coded messages that spread throughout the WWE. However, whenever he finally showed up, he would speak.
Now, we’re left to wonder what exactly does Jericho have planned now that he’s back. The six-time world champion may be a fan favorite, but his stunt earned him a hefty round of boos from the audience as he exited the arena.
Seriously, Chris. You got to give us something! We know that the promos stated that you are coming back to claim what is rightfully yours. And, that there is an elusive “she” that holds “the mystery” of your “rebirth”. But at least say something, before leaving the ring.
One thing is for sure, this won’t be the last of these escapades from Jericho before he finally does enter the ring to wrestle.
As a side note, once again John Cena delivered a humorous monologue when he entered the ring. He spoke about Wrestle Mania as well as Kane.
“I resolve to prove to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson that I have lost my lady parts.” – Cena joked.
He also expressed his “disappointment” in Kane by calling out the Red Monster. Kane responded over the PA system, telling Cena to “embrace the hate”.
