Sure, this White Collar teaser trailer is more of a mashup of the first half of the third season, but it nevertheless tantalizes as we get to jump back in the saddle with brand new episodes.
This complicated game of cops and robbers last left us with a cliffhanger; uber-villain Matthew Keller had just kidnapped Peter Burke’s wife Elizabeth. Though Keller’s actions are nothing less than pure evil, Elizabeth is only a pawn in his ploy to get a treasure stolen by one Neal Caffrey.
This trailer, if taken at face value, will have you believing that Neal is ready to come clean and confess that he’s stolen the treasure. But if we know our conniving protagonist at all, then we know that he has something up his sleeve (I’m not sure I even believe his middle name is George, which he divulges in the video).
But the trailer does have a bloodied and bruised Neal and a scene where he has a gun! Yup, it looks like it’s time to turn up the heat when the show returns on January 17th.
