There’s some great news that’s been released for the North American version of Being Human. In Syfy’s digital press tour, the network announced that season 2 would begin on January 16, at 9PM. Meaghan Rath, Sammy Huntington and Sam Witwer took to the stage to answer questions from the press as they leaked some minor spoilers for this upcoming season.
• Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse) will play a role as a 700 year old vampire this season and possibly be a romantic lead for Aiden.
• Season 2 starts one month after the events of the Season 1 finale.
• There is a possibility of seeing Mark Pellegrino as Bishop again but in a smaller role – we’ll assume that can be through flashbacks.
• Themes explored this season is past loves, identity crisis, and navigating the new season with new purpose.
• Changes are in store for Sally whose story potential did not wind down just because her door closed
• As discussed in our own interviews with Sam, Sammy, and Meaghan, the second season will be much darker.
• Sammy Huntington said that there’s an emotional moment with Nora in episode 2.3 that will be difficult for those who have gone through it.
• One of the decades that will be revisted in Aiden’s past is the 1930′s.
