So, it’s official. Kevin Nash revealed tonight on WWE RAW that his fellow Kliq member and WWE COO Triple H set up the hit on CM Punk at Summerslam, costing him the title.
According to Big Daddy Cool, Triple H provided him with tickets to SummerSlam. Then, before the main event, The Game texted his friend asking him to “stick” the winner, no matter who it was.
“When a friend asks me to do something, I do it… What I did last night CM Punk was business.” – Nash
However, Nash then said that HHH would not own up to his “business” request.
CM Punk was not happy with Nash’s testimony and showed up in the ring. He then sarcastically told Nash that if HHH told Nash to jump off a bridge, it would be good for business.
Nash said that he could prove that HHH called the hit by showing Nash the text message. But, CM Punk had a text of his own to share with Big Daddy Cool.
CM Punk told Nash that after the even, his little sister texted him: “OMG. Kevin Nash. WTF. Thought he was dead. Lol.”
The two exchanged several awesome verbal attacks at each other that was an excellent show. Unfortunately, a throw down was not to be had tonight because HHH’s security guards stopped CM Punk from taking the ring. So for now, it looks like HHH is bringing back his team and CM Punk is set to war against a new Kliq.
But, that wasn’t the big story of the night. Now that Alberto Del Rio is the Undisputed World Champion. All eyes were on him to defend his championship from Rey Mysterio. It was a great match and it looked like Mysterio would win. Unfortunately, when Mysterio went to ropes to jump from up high and end it, Del Rio got his knee up and took Mysterio out with a cradle pin.
After the fight, Del Rio decided to punish Mysterio both inside and outside of the ring. Not very champion like, right?
But, guess what?
John Cena rushed the ring to intervene and unleashed a powerful barrage on the new champ.
“You are not a champion. You are a target.” – Cena
Cena told Del Rio that every single person he knows is now an enemy. Cena also called Del Rio’s win “lucky” and gave respect to CM Punk.
“Your destiny is John Cena whipping your ass.” – Cena
So the stage is set for a few new rivalries on the WWE. What were your thoughts on tonight’s spectacle? It looks like HHH isn’t going to be the “fair and balanced” COO he claimed to be. And, John Cena is out for blood.
