One of the most buzzed about Fall TV pilots is CBS’ Person of Interest which was co-created by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises, The Man of Steel) and stars Jim Caviezel.

We recently caught up with both guys to chat about the new show, which features an ex-CIA guy that teams up with a billionaire to fight crime.

Caviezel talks to us about what drew you him to a television role and why he thinks it’s the next 24 cross with The Bourne Identity. Nolan, famous for penning films like The Dark Knight, Memento and The Prestige talks about how Caviezel’s character Reese is somewhat of a homage to Batman and also gives us some pointers on the type of action the series is going to have. Of course, I also had to ask Nolan how the The Dark Knight Rises is shaping up, but he, of course, kept his answer short and vague for fear of Warner Bros. using knockout gas on him.

Person of Interest debuts on CBS on September 22. Check out our interviews with series cast members Michael Emerson and Taraji P. Henson as well.
