‘Entourage’ Season 8 Extended Trailer Hits, Looks Epic
Finally, HBO! The cable network finally unveiled an extended trailer for the last season of Entourage and it’s electrifying, to say the least.
Let’s go through what’s inside the 90 second peek into Season 8, which has Eminem’s Fast Lane as the appropriate backdrop song:
0:02 – Vince is graduating from rehab and has been sober for 90 days. This is a good thing, folks. No need bringing down the mood with demons from season 7 (Sasha Grey included)
0:12 – The crew throws a “dry” welcome home party for Vince. Expect the Odoul’s to be flowing like water.
0:17 – Johnny Drama records a scene with Andrew Dice Clay. Expect “instant classic” lines from these scenes.
0:23 – Vin writes a script for a movie starring Drama.
0:32 – Turtle shows off his slimmer figure. Stark change from the Turtle we’ve known over the years. Perhaps he’s ditched the weed addiction (no more munchies).
0:34 – Engagement woes between E and Sloan with a nice bit of Apple product placement in the middle. Will they break up over Facetime?
0:38 – Sons of Anarchy’s Kim Coates! Yes!
0:42 – Turtle tells Vin that he has to make his own way. I’m all for Turtle ditching his freeloading ways, but hopefully this doesn’t mean another Mark Cuban cameo is in the works.
0:45 – Ari / Mrs. Ari continue their fighting, this time a divorce seems to be in the works
0:53 – Sloan sends back E’s engagement ring. This would be the perfect time for a Seth Green cameo.
0:55 – Turtle and Vin barge in a room and discover something ghastly, possibly one of their friends dead? This doesn’t look good as there are rumors someone will die. With talks of a movie in play, I doubt that it will be any of the main characters, especially as this would be too much of a downer. Could it be Billy Walsh, who is also in this trailer? Did he regress to drugs after attempting a recovery?
1:01 – Vin talks about having a big year and then reprimands Ari for not giving enough attention to his career.
1:10 – A reminder that this season is only 8 Episodes (Excuse me for a moment while I curse out Doug Ellin and HBO).
1:12 – Looks like there’s drama between Drama and Andrew Dice Clay. Expect more classic lines.
1:18 – Vince and E arguing again. Vince reminds him that friendship comes first. Thank you Vince – probably the smartest thing you’ve said since about Season 3.
1:24 – A celebratory moment with the whole crew, including Andrew Dice Clay and Billy Walsh
Are you looking forward to the last eight episodes?
