It has been announced that the first live episode of The Voice will open with a Queen medley by the show’s coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

This is the first time the coaches are coming together to perform since the show’s series premiere. The coaches will share the stage to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are the Champions.” Queen is not only a fantastic band to cover but the song choices set just the right mood to kick off the live shows. Clearly, the energy is going to be crazy tomorrow night. In fact, it will probably become the most talked about episode in TV this week. The coaches will rock the house and the contestants will up the ante because of it.

Currently, there is no word as to if the coaches will give a special performance on the night of the live season finale on Wednesday, June 29th or the additional results show on Wednesday, June 22nd. If not, NBC definitely must have a stellar performance in the works from the coaches for its Post Superbowl episode. Only time will tell what special performances we can expect during the season one finale and post Superbowl episode, so stay tuned for more information.

Meanwhile, The Voice Season 2 is already set to air midseason on Mondays from 8-10 p.m. ET. For casting information visit NBC The Voice.

The Voice airs Tuesdays from 9-11 p.m. ET on NBC.
