American Idol Season 10 winner, 17-year-old country singer, Scotty McCreery was honored this weekend with a celebratory parade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The North Carolina native also made a surprise performance of his new single, “I Love You This Big” right in front of “The American Idol Experience” attraction (which opened in early 2009) at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In “The American Idol Experience,” visitors get the opportunity to audition in front of a Disney producer (must be at least 14 years old) and perform on stage if they gain a majority of the votes, or vote for their favorite performance from their audience seats. What better visit to “The American Idol Experience” than when an Idol winner is there? Disney visitors who are Idol fans were quite lucky this weekend!

Meanwhile, American Idol Season 10 contestant, Pia Toscano sang the National Anthem during the National Memorial Day Concert in Washington D.C. Toscano’s elimination this past season brought one of the biggest upsets of the season, so it will be very interesting to see who sells more when Toscano releases her debut album and when Mcreery releases his. No release dates have been set so stay tuned for more information.

Like Julia Holcomb, whom Steven Tyler dumped after forcing her to undergo a horrific abortion procedure, my introduction into the adult world by Steven Tyler in my early teens was full of many unbelievable twists and turns. Steven’s strange eccentricities are nothing new. Like Julia, he wanted to take me on the road with Aerosmith. He offered me a non-specific job that I had no experience for because I was just a kid. When he said I had to get my parents to turn over guardianship to him so I could legally cross state lines with the band, I turned him down. I never knew what to think about it. After reading Julia’s recently published article ( http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/the-light-of-the-world-the-steve-tyler-and-julia-holcomb-story ), I’m even more confused.
