At WonderCon, we spoke with three-time Emmy Award-winner Sean Callery (24, Bones), Composer of the new six-part mini-series The Kennedys airing this week on the Reelz Channel, starring Greg Kinnear (John F. Kennedy), Barry Pepper (Robert F. Kennedy), Katie Holmes (Jacqueline Onassis) and Tom Wilkinson (Joseph P. Kennedy Sr.). Known for his electro-acoustical music on ’24′ Callery’s challenge on The Kennedys was to come up with sounds that were patriotic, sympathetic, heroic and develop music that would honor “America’s Royal Family.” Some of the details he shares are:
• The transition from action series to a drama based in history
