Hopefully, the Smallville writers have completely gotten the filler out of their system, because this is it, seven episodes left. In this short span of time, Clark (Tom Welling) needs to man up and mentally match the indestructible physical attributes he possesses.

By the looks of the preview and clip below, things are going to get real interesting real fast this week with Scion. Alternate universe Lionel is still doing what he does best: tormenting others. Not only will he will go ‘mano y mano’ with Tess (Cassidy Freeman) over the Luthor name, he also has his eyes set on Lois (Erica Durance), who apparently had to again step in for fiance Clark. Judging by the clip below, Alexander (Lucas Grabeel) won’t necessarily like what Lionel is doing. Is this the point when he becomes Conner Kent? It’s been confirmed that Superboy will be in the upcoming episodes and I have a strong feeling that Alexander will reject Lionel’s evil ways.
