We’ve seen many changes on The Vampire Diaries Season 2, from Kat returning to Mystic Falls to Caroline turning into a vampire. Zach Roerig, who stars as Matt, prides himself on being one of the few human characters on the show that keep The Vampire Diaries grounded.
At New York Comic Con, we caught up with showrunner Kevin Williamson and Roerig to discuss the love story between Matt and Caroline. Instead of vampire guy meets human girl, it’s newly turned vampire girl wants to get back human guy. Williamson also discusses the future of The Vampire Diaries going into the 2-part Halloween episode and what changes we can expect in our favorite Mystic Falls characters.
Since werewolves have been newly introduced, Roerig also shares with us which form of supernatural entity he would most like to become.
