If you’re a fan of Real Housewives of New Jersey, you may be interested to know that you can help save Teresa Giudice from financial ruin without spending a penny of your own money. The reality star has run into financial difficulty. Teresa, 38, and her husband, Joe, 40 have run up a whopping $10.98 million in debt through real estate, credit cards and other financial mishaps. Now, the Giudice family is set to auction off all of the contents of their 16-room, 10,000-square-foot Towaco mansion on August 22.

Philo, an iPhone app and Web platform that is Twitter meets Foursquare meets Television, has launched the Save Teresa Fund. Effective immediately through August 21st, when you check-in to Real Housewives of New Jersey, Philo will donate $.01 to the Save Teresa Fund. 100% of proceeds will go towards helping Teresa reclaim what is rightfully hers and buy her possessions back at auction.

To mark the Real Housewives of New Jersey event , a limited edition “Save Teresa” Award (artwork attached) will be unlocked every time a cent is donated.
