After a hot start as the top series (ratings wise) of the 2008-2009 Television Season, The Mentalist has been sold into syndication just a few weeks into its second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

TNT and Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution have reached a deal of a reported $2.2 to $2.3 million per episode for the crime procedural. The show, starring Simon Baker as a Patrick Jane, a consultant with a California Bureau of Investigation, currently airs on Thursdays at 10PM on CBS.

You can expect to see the show weekly on TNT starting in the Fall of 2011, with a bigger launch in 2012.
