In this latest FIFA Sizzle video from EA Sports, Gary Paterson, Creative Director for FIFA 10 on PS3 and Xbox 360, gives a word-bubble commentary on the trailer.
Paterson makes note of the updated physics engine allowing gamers to be in a “more composed position before taking a shot.” He also states that all the footage is taken directly from the game.
Also for hardcore FIFA gamers, defense has been updated. So, we should be seeing more of our defenders trying to help the goalie by blocking shots. Of course, everyone’s talking about the new 360 degree dribbling. You can hold the left and right triggers you can perform more responsive turns to get past defenders. This new dribbling system, EA also claims creates a more dynamic battle for possession of the ball.
FIFA Soccer 10 will be available in North America October 20 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
