Some mysteries in life are just too complex to understand. For instance, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around does it make a sound? Personally, I think, heck yeah it makes a sound. That’s just physics – noise energy.

But, I have a deeper more grueling question. How is it that most of the TV viewing world tunes in Monday nights to Heroes, and wantonly ignores ‘Sons of Anarchy.’ Yes, I’ll incur the wrath of the internet populous by stating that Sons of Anarchy is grittier and has a much more compelling arc than Heroes. And, honestly, overall by this point in Heroes Season 2, I had lost interest in the show. Maybe, I’m comparing apples to oranges. One is a science-fiction-fantasy tale, while the other is a real life gang drama. I get that.

However, most of the fans who tuned into Heroes weren’t necessarily the standard live and die by sci-fi crowd. They were average people. Are average people against gritty-gang dramas? Well both ‘The Wire‘ and ‘The Sopranos‘ were hits – although, they did have the backing of HBO.

So, I’m reaching out to everyone who loves Sons of Anarchy and those who choose not to tune in. Why do you watch or why do you choose not to? How do fans of “The Wire” or “The Sopranos” weigh in on this hard-hitting-gritty gang drama?

We’ve taken a moment to deviate from our normal episode rundown. But, this had to be done for the sake of SAMCRO.

In ‘Sons of Anarchy’ of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 4, SAMCRO begins to split up into three factions: those loyal to Clay (Ron Perlman), the Jax (Charlie Hunnam) supporters that believe Clay is on the way out and Gemma (Katey Sagal). Yes, for the moment, Gemma has become and island onto herself. A storm is brewing in SAMCRO, whose side are you on? And, who will be left to wage war against Ethan Zobelle’s (Adam Arkin) nationals?

The first time I watched SOA was on the Friday after the second season premiered. There is an encore episode that airs from 10-11pm on Fridays and I caught most of it. Honestly what first caught my eye and made me stop flipping through the channels was Jax (Charlie Hunnam). I, of course, thought he was HOT and decided to watch the show. Once the first episode ended I was blown away by what happened and basically hooked. By the next weekend I had watched all of the first season including the special features. I think this show is brilliant and honestly before seeing the show if someone asked me if I would be interested in a bikers show I would have said no. I think part of what interests me into the show is I am naive and some of the things that happen really shock me. Also, I think the writers and actors do a great job in making the viewers feel the emotions of the show. I think the actors are awesome, but Gemma (Katey Sagal) is hands down the best. I don’t think anyone could play the role better than her. All I can say is that I can’t wait until Tuesday nights. Anyone who hasn’t seen the show should rent season one, or just watch the next episode. It is by far the best show on television! I am thrilled that the show is getting great reviews and I hope it is back for many more seasons.
