America’s infatuation with Dexter Morgan has reached record levels. Showtime’s hit “Dexter” Season 4 premiered to the tune of 1.9 Million viewers (including the 11pM encore), which represents an increase on the record-setting Season 3 finale, but the greatest single-telecast for Showtime since the ratings changeover in 2004.
And that provided a strong lead-in for Californication, which also had series-record numbers. The David Duchovny series Season 3 premiere was witnessed by 1.2M viewers total (including the 10:30PM encore).
