The Californication Season 3 premiere may only be a few days away, but Californication living is alive and well in New York’s Tribeca Summit Showtime House.
As part of the Metropolitan Home and Showtime collaboration, designer Markus Dochantschi has created a master bedroom worthy of the sinful tastes of Californication’s Hank Moody (David Duchovny). The moment you enter the narrow passageway leading to the master bedroom, you will be overcome by the sensuous black-and-white photography adorning the hallway walls.
The ceiling of the bedroom has an angled mirror so that Hank and his date for the night can explore their sexuality and the spectrum of sexual positions. The room also comes with a retractable bar, that would make James Bond jealous.
Dochantschi shared, “Somebody asked, ‘What do you think Hank Moody would think the minute he walks into the space?’ My answer was, ‘Well he wouldn’t. He would just take the space and use it.’”
