Sylar? Nathan? Who is that guy?

“Heroes” Season 3 lost the attention of many fans, with its new “Book 3,” half-season formatting. Despite having a potentially strong and engaging arc, most fans were turned off as several of their character favorites had their history, powers and allegiances switched.

Luckily, 3 episodes into “Heroes” Volume 4, “Fugitives” (the second half of Season 3), the creative staff redeemed itself. Characters were killed, Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) returned and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) finally had a chance to be a bad ass – too bad he didn’t use it.

Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), the one character who has died more times than Ra’s Al Ghul, died again in the Season 3 finale. Only, he was pseudo-resurrected when HRG (Jack Coleman) and Angela Petrelli decided to play God and have Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) alter Sylar’s mind to become Nathan, both physically and mentally (Sylar (Zachary Quinto) picked up Mystique style powers allowing him to shape shift in Season 3). So, although Nathan is dead, Sylar lives on as Nathan.

Heroes” Season 4, or Volume 5 depending on how you look at it, is appropriately named “Redemption.” For many lost “Heroes” fans, this will be an ideal opportunity for their once favorite Monday night show to find redemption. Sure, Volume 4, “Fugitives,” was great, but the muddled finale with another Nathan death left many viewers concerned as to the lack of new concepts and creativity on “Heroes.”

Season 4 begins Monday, Sept. 21 at 8/7C. Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose) is once again the malicious-motherly antagonist. Robert Knepper (Prison Break) joins the cast and is introduced opposite Hiro. Californication star Madeline Zima appears as Claire Bennett’s latest new-school confidant.

John obviously has some reading disability. I don’t see Kitty Pride mentioned anywhere here. But, then again some people just like to rant when they leave comments.

So check out a kindergarten reading class and learn your ABCs before you start commenting.

Whoa–before you go making X-Men references, at least take the time to look it up on Wikipedia. Kitty Pryde cannot shapeshift. She walks through walls…

It’s forgivable to get comics references wrong when their only in print and just now starting to become more mainstream, but come on–she was in two of the movies for crying out loud.
