On Wednesday, September 23, Courteney Cox returns to prime-time television in her second lead-actress role since “Friends.”
Taking a stab at the “soccer mom” craze raging through Hollywood television series, Courteney will be playing Jules Cobb, a recently divorced single mother on “Cougar Town.” As the name suggests, Jules will be returning to the dating scene surrounded by nothing but youth.
The series aims to “explores the honest truths about dating and aging in a beauty and youth obsessed culture.”
In 2010, Courteney will reprise her role as Gale Weathers in “Scream 4.”
“Cougar Town“ premieres on ABC Wednesday, Sept. 23rd at 9:30/8:30c.
