Earlier in the summer, news surfaced that Brian Austin Green (formerly of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and, of course, the first Beverly Hill 90210) is joining Smallville in its 9th season.
Courtesy of SpoilerTv, here’s a look at him as Metallo, one of the villains Clark will have to deal with. If Season 9 remotely follows the comics, Green will also play Metallo’s other identity, John Corben, who is a reporter at the Daily Planet and attempts to hit on Lois. As you can see in the picture, Metallo has a nifty Kryponite power source that will probably be used to cripple Clark.
So after you take a first look at Metallo, check out a clip from the first episode, “Savior.”
Smallville’s Season 9 premiere is just a few weeks away (Sept. 25). Make sure you tune in on its new night, Friday at 8PM.
