Game Stop is back with another one of their exclusive gaming-marketing deals. Gamers who reserve Need for Speed Shift at Game Stop will get exclusive access to the BMW E92 M3 GT2.

Last year, Game Stop did a similar deal for gamers who bought the Incredible Hulk for the Xbox 360 - they were given exclusive access to the Red Hulk. This always comes as unfortunate news to gamers who are trying to save a few dollars by purchasing at cheaper outlets like Amazon.com. I would have no problem if Game Stop offered some discount incentive in preordering their games, but they don’t. Instead, gamers will have to ante-up full retail price if they want to ride in the BMW E92 M3 GT2. With games still priced at 59.99, publishers and retailers alike will have to work together to bring down the cost of games or slowly come to grips with the falling sales do to the depressed economy.
