It wouldn’t be Comic Con without Rob Liefeld - or Barack Obama for that matter. We checked out Rob Liefeld’s booth at Comic Con, and the Image artist and X-Force legend posed with two of his latest Youngblood covers featuring President Barack Obama.
Say what you will about Liefeld and his feet antipathy, the artist is still one of the most successful artists in the Comic Book world.
While we were doing our initial run of the floor, on Press Preview Night, our camera team asked Liefeld for a quick on-camera interview. For whatever reason, he asked our crew to come back the next day. Which, begs the question: Was Liefeld afraid to stand up for the interview? After asking around, we’ve learned that most people have only seen Liefeld sitting down for signings. Could it be that Rob Liefeld doesn’t have any feet himself? This would explain his sordid background with the this particular part of the human anatomy.
