Ryan Reynolds to Become the Green Lantern

He played Deadpool in Marvel’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine and now Ryan Reynolds is switching over to DC Comics.

The actor has been chosen by Warner Bros. to play the Green Lantern in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular comic book hero. The studio had been deciding among other actors like Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake was also rumored to have done a screen test for the film.

Reynolds will become the first actor to play both a Marvel and DC Comics superhero. He’s not necessarily done with Deadpool either as Marvel is working on a spinoff of the X-Men movies features Reynolds as Deadpool.

    I actually don’t consider “Catwoman” the actual DC Comics version of Catwoman.

    It’s funny your name is Kyle and you made this statement. Because the actual DC Comics character from the pages of Batman that everyone knows and loves is named Selina Kyle, not Patience Phillips which is the terrible version that was made for Halle Berry to walk around doing dolly poses.

    So, no, a comic reader and savant would never consider that Catwoman the DC comics version. They just used the name Catwoman not the actual character Catwoman.

    Actually, Halle Berry was the first, she palyed Marvel’s “Storm” and DC’s “Catwoman”.
