'The Soloist' DVD Release Date Announced (+Blu-ray)

Coming to both DVD and Blu-ray later this summer is the well-received Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey, Jr. flick, The Soloist. On August 4, 2009, you can own your very own copy of the movie about a journalist that befriends a homeless, but talented musician.

Here’s some information on the release and special features, straight from the press release:

THE SOLOIST DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray disc is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 TrueHD, French 5.1 Dolby Digital and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles.
