“Call off your goon!” Episode 2 of Weeds Season 5 kicked off with everyone’s favorite Mexican-Mafia henchman, Cesar. Instead of waking up to a bright sunny morning, Nancy woke up to Cesar’s stoic face, his sidearm and of course a polite request for coffee – it is after all the best part of waking up.
Cesar follows Nancy along to a beauty spa and gets lured into an unwelcome foot fish-filled footbath. “Fish eat dead skin. Forty-five dollars.” Nancy uses the distraction to ditch Cesar and visit everyone’s favorite Weeds Season 4 smuggler, Guillermo (Guillermo Diaz), in prison. Nancy’s “friendly” visit results in a most unfriendly verbal attack from her incarcerated ex-boss. Guillermo tells Nancy that, without a ring on her finger, she’s nothing but a “knocked up punta whore rat.”
Andy and the Botwin boys have moved in with Nancy’s sister Jill (Jennifer-Jason Leigh). It doesn’t take long before Andy gets Nancy’s perfect sister drunk by preying on Jill’s marriage insecurities. Within moments Andy is taking out his sexual frustrations with Nancy with her sister Jill. The only problem is: Andy doesn’t realize that Shane is recording the entire sexual escapade on his phone. Technology. Where would we be without it? Will Shane’s new home-porno make its way to the Internet or will he use it as a means of controlling Andy?
As for Celia, she’s doing her best to try and make friends with her former kidnapper turned savior, Adolfo. She’s organizing his weapons cache and arranging his machete collection. Everybody needs a good woman. And, Adolfo may just keep this one around, now that he’s given Celia’s daughter the boot.
The stress of single motherhood and a mafia-born baby out of wedlock is a little too much for Nancy to bear. So, she takes up the bottle at a sushi bar before confronting Esteban. Nancy thrusts a gun into his hand and gives him an ultimatum: live or die, he must decide her future now. That’s why I love Nancy. She’s not intimidated by any situation. Unfortunately, Esteban decides to bend Nancy over and date rapes our heroine. Some may argue that this wasn’t rape, since Nancy didn’t flatly refuse. But, Esteban’s intent was all there. And, I hope that Nancy is able to turn the tables on him.
In this clip, from Weeds Season 5 Episode 3, “Su-Su-Sucio,” Silas and Doug encounter a problem when applying for a license for their medicinal marijuana store.

ha this show is the shit. theres nothing out there like it. ya it may be unrealistic at times..but thats what people want.. constant drama. its clever and keeps you on your feet
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cesar who bent Nancy over the next.
the characters are pretty realistic but unrealistic circumstances occur to them sometimes. I like this show
You would have to watch seasons 1-4 to totally get what is going on. It wouldn’t make sense if you just tuned in for one episode!
I just watched this show because it was on before Nurse Jackie. I really don’t get it. There were some funny moments, but I didn’t feel like the characters were believable.
