This fall, you’ll be able to own the final saga of CBS’ The Unit, when its fourth season comes to DVD and Blu-ray. Fox has just announced that September 29, 2009 is the official street date.
While this season wasn’t the best one the show has seen, it still had some pretty awesome episodes. It’s still a shame that CBS decided to cancel it; there were way more tales to tell from Jonas Blane and the rest of the squad.
The DVD will come in a 6 disc box set clocking in at 1038 minutes while the Blu-ray will be 5 Disc and approximately the same number of minutes. Both releases seemingly have the same content and special features, although it’s not clear if the special features will be in high-definition on the Blu-ray release.
Stay tuned for the finalized box art. In the meantime, you can get a jump on preordering here (DVD or Blu-ray).
