It’s from one great show to another for Katee Sackhoff; the Battlestar Galactica alum is set to join the 8th season of Fox’s 24.
Sackhoff, who played Starbuck on BG, will play a Counter Terrorist Unit analyst named Dana Walsh, who is described as not only having expert computer skills, but also having a secret past. She will be involved with the head of field operations, played by Freddie Prinze, Jr. No word yet on how she’ll interact with Chloe, who will presumably be related to CTU in some way.
This is the most recent in a number of cast additions to the show, whose January return will mark the 8th longest day of Jack Bauer’s life. The eighth season will be set in New York City.

I’m having a hard time buying Jack’s return, especially after how he was treated by the govt. after everything he did. If I were in charge he’d be president. What ever happened to those bumper stickers anyway?
