CBS made its upfront presentation today to advertisers, showcasing its upcoming fall 2009 television programming.
The new schedule involves some additions, some cancellations and some shuffling around of existing shows. You’ll see that it has their comedy night remaining in tact on Mondays, with the addition of the new comedy Accidentally on Purpose.
Another new addition to the schedule is the NCIS spinoff, NCIS: Los Angeles, which will star LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. The Eye Network also decided to revive the recently cancelled NBC show, Medium, picking up the rights to air it.
As we previously reported, CBS unfortunately decided not to pick up The Unit for a 5th season. Without a Trace was also canceled.

I was so excited with anticipation waitng for the unit to return to CBS. How disapoining that it has been canceled. It was one of the better original shows that CBS was running. Different from the same old same old of slap stick comedy and CSI investigation type programs that run all week long.
Is The Unit no longer politically correct? I know it was popular with my family and friends and I am more than sorry to see that the producers have decided to cancel.
The UNIT may be cancelled but no one will ever realize that it is closer to the truth than any of you out there know. I am one of the old timers and the goverment is worse than that. Its not just a tv show. There are other shows that show half the truth of what is really going on out there and not one public citizen knows the truth…
Crimial Minds does not hold a candle to The Unit
I AM A BIG NCIS FAN I cant wait to see what happens as far as ZIVA storyline - her daddy is not a nice person i hope she comes back TONY/ZIVA great combo
