With only two more hours left in the fifth season of Lost, we’ve compiled a list of fifteen questions, in no particular order, that remain unresolved.
1) What exactly is the Smoke Monster. Yes, the Smoke Monster is the spirit of the Island, but will we ever have a definitive answer as to its origin?
2) What’s the deal with Richard Alpert?
3) Will Sawyer ditch Juliet for Kate? And, how far is Juliet willing to go to keep her man?
4) Who will Kate ultimately end up with, if she doesn’t end up dead? Personally, I like Sawyer and Juliet so I’d rather see Kate with Jack.
5) The numbers have come up again, but will we ever understand why they are harbingers of doom?
6) Who or what is Jacob?
7) Will Jack finally be reunited with his father on the Island?
8 ) What is it that makes John Locke so darn special?
9) Who will be the final victor in the long-standing battle between Benjamin Linus and Charles Widmore.
10) Will Jack be able to detonate Jughead? And will the result of the explosion lead to salvation or doom for the survivors?
11) Will Sun be reunited with Jin?
12) Why do the others require a leader to be chosen in the first place? And, what is the selection process?
13) Can time really be changed?
14) What will Desmond’s final role in this drama be, or has he already been written out?
15) To whom will the spoils go to when the dust settles from this war?
