in A&E, Contests, Reality TV

Hey Buzz Focus readers, we have some cool prizes supporting the new A&E Real Life Series Tattoo Highway, premiering Wednesday, May 27 @ 10/9C.

tattoo_highway_keyart_lgTattoo Highway follows 15-year tattoo veteran and star of former A&E hit “Inked,” Thomas Pendelton as he takes his tattoo parlor on the road to cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Salt Lake City to transform personal stories into living art. Pendelton and his business partner and wife Monica have transformed a 1970s tour bus into a tattoo parlor on wheels, featuring a swanky interior and top-of-the-line tattooing equipment. It’s a tattoo shop that can tattoo anyone, anywhere. Ride along as emotional limits and friendships are challenged and the persistent mechanical problems of a vintage bus are tested on the road, as “Tattoo Highway” proves to be one bumpy ride. Tattoo Highway premieres Wednesday May 27th at 10/9C on A&E!

I am retired military (1997) and my son has been in for 10 years now. I have owned 2 biker friendly bars and have seen thousands of tata. I have one on each shoulder, one very good (religious) and the other not so good. I want a tat that tells the story of my life, from loosing friends in service to my battle between good and evil. Half man half bones reaching up from hell, struggling to reach the hand of God just out of reach, there for me to take the right path. That in short is my story, a wife of 32 years that has stood by me thru good and very bad, my inner strength. I would be honored to have Thomabring that to life, to give it final meaning, thanks.

Hi, married for 24 yrs to a wonderful man that has been living in hell for 24 7 due to having 7 back surgeries. It has broke my heart for now about 10 yrs to watch how his life & mind have changed as a man. he has never had a tattoo done and would love to have the right person do art work and tell a story of his pain of hell on his back. The title on the back would state screwed for life. And have screws look like going into back with blood and stapels he hates taking his shirt off and by this art work with your talented hands & mind would tell a story, i would love to see the look on his face if you were to pull up. I love surprising him, because it puts a true smile on his face. And that helps with his pain of hell. Please help. From a wife who cares.

I am a single mom of 8 great kids and my youngest and only son is getting ready to leave the nest. A bit earlier than what I expected as he is wanting to head off to the Army. I call him my child of the recession as I feel it is the recession that is driving him to go so early. Anyway, I have always wanted a tattoo done to represent my kids. I would love to have an anklet done using their names to make the chain links and the dangle would be represenative of my daughter who passed as a baby. My son too would like to have something done to represent the memory of his baby (big)sister. I would love it too if there was something that was represenative of his choice to join the service. I told him when he turned 18 I would take him and get it done but well time is just not on our side as he prepares to leave the nest early. What do you say?? Are you comming to Houston and would you be willing to design our tatts? It would be AWESOME!!

Thanks…

It would be nice if yall would come to longview texas. There are alot of tattoo shops around here and all of them say that they are the best but if you look some are alright but the rest not so well. It would be nice to see good tattoo work around here. Myself have found the tattoo artist that were not so well. And I am looking in to getting one covered up. It does not look good anymore and was thinking about doing something different. SO it would be nice if yall would stop by.

Hey I am a 24 year old girl born and raise in Texas. Thomas you need to come to Texas. I have a big cross on my back and its not the greatest. Every where I go to see if they can fix it either they say they have to laser it first and then they can do a cover up. I need to get it fix…..hope we see you in texas…..

Devonne Whiting May 25, 2009 at 2:48 am

Come on.

Christine May 25, 2009 at 7:23 pm

My question is a bit different from the rest. My son(24) has started doing tats and , he needs some direction on how to get into a shop. He is very very talented. I had 2 tats from others and the two he has given me have much more details, and color. If you could send how to get into the door, his talents will get him a job. We live on the Texas/NM border,if that matters.
Thanks so much for any advice he can use to get his career started.

Megan May 27, 2009 at 2:08 am

Hey Thomas. When in LA/Orange County please TAT me!!! I’ve got a horrible tat that only reminds me of my past. And not a good past at that. My girlfriend sees it daily and grimaces with disgust. I look at it and am taken back to my non-sober days when I got it. Everyday I wish I could go back and redo that one day of my life. Now, sober and back in school, I’d LOVE to be able to afford to get it covered but make just barely enough to get by. Covering this horrible tat would surely be an impressive feat and would greatly improve my 7 year, long term relationship and my overall pride in appearance.

Thanks!!!

Jeremy Ridgley May 27, 2009 at 6:30 pm

Everyone wants their tattoos covered because they messed up earlier in life? That’s dumb. How about getting one that you won’t regret, one with a story behind it that impacted your life majorly. My best friend died while I was stationed in Germany and the army lied about it, which I can prove, and sent me to jail for 7 months and kicked me out. Not only did I lose my best friend when I was 2 blocks away from him, I got
Put in jail and lost 7 months of my life and was kicked out along with a bunch of other close friends. I want to get a tattoo of a Celtic cross atretching from my wrist to my elbow with his initials on it, a cross like the one he had, but I’m gunna save up my money until I can pay for it myself

Juli May 27, 2009 at 6:37 pm

I would love for you to come out to the Amish Country in Lancaster County PA. I have been wanted a new tattoo for about a year. I work in the music industry managing several internationally known bands and would love to have the tat represent my love for my job. At the same time that I am having mine done, I would love for my husband to be able to get one done that he has been wanting for 5 years and that is the green man on his shoulder!

MY DAD WHILE ON A MACHINE TO BREATH FOR HIM, HE TOOK HIS FINGER AND STRAIGHTENED OUT HIS HOSPITAL GOWN AND WROTE “I LOVE YOU DAUGHTER” HE WASN’T JUST MY DAD HE WAS MY FRIEND. MY FATHER AND BROTHER ARE TOGETHER IN ANOTHER LIFE, AND FOR THAT I AM THANKFUL. LAURIE

steve kirchgessner May 28, 2009 at 4:13 pm

Dear Tattoo Highway,

My name is Steve Kirchgessner and I lost my father when I was 21. I got married and have a son he is now 9. The tattoo I have always wanted is a portrait of my father and my son on my right shoulder. My father would be top right with my son lower left under him and in type it would say from death comes life. Like myself my son did not get to meet neither of him his grandpas. This would mean soooooo much to me to be tattooed by you. Thank you for your time.

David S. Gentry May 28, 2009 at 6:19 pm

Dear Thomas: My name is David Gentry. I am 39 and hemophilic. Because of the medicine I have had to take my whole life, I am HIV positive. I found out in 1988. But I am in pretty good health and my viral load is almost undectable. I would love to get a tattoo that shows my love for my favorite band…Rush. they have a song called ‘working them angels’. It is about a man that pushes the limits, so his angels have to work harder. On their album sleeve, there is a print done by artist Hugh Syme. I figured with all the stuff I have been through, it was appropiate. Coming to Houston?

Irene Hendricks May 28, 2009 at 8:27 pm

First i wanted to say that i seen your show for the first time on May 27,2009 and i was really touched when you did the tattoo for the gentalmen that lost his wife i honestly think that putting her ashes in the black ink was an awsome idiea. I lost my mom in 2005 to C.H.F and have always wanted to have a portait of her done on my left shoulder,i have one that says in loving memory of mom on my left arm but that has more work to be done to it…to go threw the pain to have this tattoo done would be worth it. So if you ever come to cali again look me up. I live in antioch,ca. I wish you and your team great sucsess with your series and hope you come my way…..

thaks for your time
irene

Are you ever coming to Texas? There is a lot of neat stuff here. There is NASA, Kemah Boardwalk and Lakewood Church where Joel Osteen preaches. I have a large original artwork. I am REALLY disappointed in the outcome. Can you “redo” it and enhance it for me? I live in League City Texas (close to Galveston, TX which is still recovering from hurricane Ike). Come to Texas and fix my Tat PLEASE! I’ll be forever grateful!

I’m 22 and my father passed in 2001 and we have had so many spiritual “signs” over the years. My mom was against tattoos in the past until she saw your show. She says she wants a tattoo of a plumeria flower, which is significant to one of our first “signs” of my dad. This would mean the world to her for you to make a trip to Texas. I have several tattoos and also wants work done to start my sleeve. I don’t know if i’d get a response back, but if you do get this it would make a great story, guaranteed. We have so many stories it’s getting me chills as we speak. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Maybe we can change our families luck with your presents. Appreciate Thomas…Cody from Texas

Nikki September 2, 2010 at 8:26 pm

I am interested in getting my 1st tattoo. I have an idea of what I want. I want something that represents what my childrens’ names mean. My daughter’s name means heavenly flower and my son’s name means fierce and firey. I want the 2 incorporated into one tattoo of a hibiscus and a dragon. If you ever make it to Minnesota I would love to be on the show.
