Seth MacFarlane, creator of “American Dad” and “Family Guy”, is back with a new DVD release that’s guaranteed to make you question your ethical integrity. If you’ve ever wondered what MacFarlane would be like with his gloves off and free from censors, you’re answer is here.

seth_cavalcade_dvdSeth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy features 50 shorts filled with moments that will make you exclaim, “Wow, he really went there.” Each short features MacFarlane’s trademark pop culture satirical humor with an added dose of “oh sh!t.” Seth goes from mocking Super Mario’s relationship with Princess Toadstool to examining the complexity of Optimus Prime having sex. And, trust me, the latter is a sight to see – if your integrity can handle it. Wonder what would happen to the Wild E. Coyote if he ever caught the roadrunner? Well, Seth explores that as well.

I remember when “Office Space” first came out and the new water cooler talk revolved around your coworker’s “Oh! Face.” If you’ve never been privy to Seth’s humor before, Cavalcade of Comedy will be sure to have you donning an entirely new jaw dropping face: the “Seth Mac Face.” The title cards between each short may be lame, but you’ll pick your jaw up nearly every time after each of Seth’s 10 “Things You Never Hear” sketches.

There are definitely a few shorts in here that aren’t up to snuff with Seth’s comedy. Some are borderline bad. However, there are enough laugh-out-loud moments to warrant checking this release out. Die hard Seth MacFarlane fans may have already caught several of these shorts on YouTube. Since most shorts are unrelated quick shock jokes, it may not be worth it for many to buy this release. After seeing most of the shorts once, you probably won’t find yourself watching them a second time.

The DVD and Blu-Ray releases are light on special features. The still galleries feature rough character models, cleaned up character models and colored character models. But, there’s really nothing interesting in the change between any of these models. They may as well have just had one gallery instead of fooling you by breaking it up into three sections.

The best bonus feature of this release is the Red Party Premiere. You’ll get to see Seth and several celebrities watch the premiere of Cavalcade of Comedy. James Kyson Lee (Heroes) and Seth Green (Robot Chicken) were also on the red carpet.

Special features:
- Still Galleries: Rough Character Models, Cleaned up character models and Colored character models.
