He’s saved the day in Los Angeles six times and is currently saving it in Washington, D.C. But next season, Jack Bauer and the rest of 24 is headed to New York City for another day of explosions, plot twists and all around awesomeness.
Entertainment Weekly’s Ausiello blog broke this story that not only will Day 8 be set in New York, but CTU will also make a return under the leadership of a character named Brian Hastings. This new leader will be joined by 2 new CTU agents (one male and one female) and, of coures, Chloe O’Brien.
I think this is great news for the show as the Big Apple is a great backdrop. Washington has played an important role this season, with some of the capital city’s iconic buildings taking center stage. Can you picture Jack Bauer running through Times Square, chasing bad guys? Almost sounds too good to be true.
