We’ve got a new gameplay video for the upcoming Fight Night Round 4, featuring Producer Brian Hayes. Gamers can look forward to a totally new game from Fight Night 3. The new physics engine allows boxers to really get in close to one another and deliver the kind of realistic blows that makes this more than just a brute force blow-for-blow boxing title.

The gameplay has an upgraded collision system. Now, when boxers fall, it doesn’t feel like the same repetitive fall each time. Instead, each fall will be based on how the punch landed. Even the blood spatter looks real.

This clip shows actual gameplay footage. Both the defensive movement and offensive combos have been upgraded for speed to allow for more realistic interactions. Though, I must admit, most boxing matches of late have actually felt like Fight Night 3, so Round 4 may actually feel like a return to the glory days of boxing - before we realized it lead to brain damage.
