Here it is, an all new sizzle trailer of 2009’s highly anticipated Fight Night Round 4. I’ve been itching for a good boxing game for a while now, and from the looks of the gameplay in this trailer the realism factor has had an intense upgrade.
Fight Night Round 4 heralds an all new gameplay engine with the improved ability to punch through blocks, and punches that glance off your opponent. Sound sweet? It sure does.
My only concern is that EA Sports is claiming punching is faster than ever before. Hopefully, this doesn’t make the title more like Ready 2 Rumble than Fight Night. I’m a huge Ready 2 Rumble fan, but that style of gameplay is reserved for that style of game. It all boils down to how it’s implemented in the end. Possibly, when fighters get hot they may be able to unleash a non-stop barrage of punches.
