You ever heard the old saying, “Better late than never?” Well with two Tudors seasons in the can, and a brand spanking new season just a few days away, Showtime is going viral for King Henry VIII. And, no not the kind of viral that rhymes with stimulus and burns.
Showtime’s latest venture into web promotion for the Tudors is PopTudors, a new blog that features funny videos, episode commentary and all things remotely touching on the world of King Henry VIII. Hopefully, that includes a few scandalous photos of Jonathan Rhys Meyers too! A girl has to dream, no?
New York UCBT (Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre) alums Eliza Skinner and Glennis McMurray will be joining in on the fun with weekly recaps throughout the season.
I actually swung by the site earlier today, and got a huge laugh out of Trish’s “Tudor Tips for a Successful Bromance,” so be sure to check it out. I’m totally in agreement with point three, but you’ll just have to stop by for yourself to see what that means.
